3. Phone Number Collection

We collect and use your phone number for authentication via One-Time Password (OTP) and to enable direct communication between employers and workers. Your phone number is essential for verifiable account creation and secure access.

4. Location Access

Mazdoor Sytu collects location data to provide core features such as showing nearby job opportunities to workers and nearby workers to employers. We may collect your precise or approximate location when the app is in use or, with your permission, in the background to enable real-time tracking during active job assignments.

5. Camera & Storage Permissions

We request access to your camera and storage for the following purposes:

• Camera: To allow you to take and upload profile photos and scan QR codes for attendance verification.
• Storage: To allow you to upload identity documents and professional certificates from your device.

6. Uploaded Identity Documents

To ensure trust and safety on our platform, we require identity verification (KYC). Documents such as Aadhaar or other ID proofs uploaded by you are stored securely in Firebase Storage and are used solely for verification purposes. These documents are not shared with third parties.

7. Firebase Services Usage

We use Google Firebase services to power our application, including:

• Firestore: To store application data and user profiles.
• Authentication: To manage secure user sign-in.
• Cloud Messaging: To send real-time notifications about jobs and applications.
• Storage: To host uploaded images and documents.

8. WhatsApp Sharing

Our app provides features to share job details via WhatsApp. When you use this feature, we do not access your WhatsApp contacts or messages; we simply pre-fill a message for you to send manually.

9. Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use analytics tools and crash reporting services (such as Firebase Crashlytics) to monitor app performance and improve user experience. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify individual users.
